

A small portion of the land is allocated for cultivating vegetables and flowers for the ashram. It is important to become self-sufficient. However, due to the limitations of the soil and the region’s environmental factors, not all types of food can be grown. So, priority is given to crops that naturally thrive in this area. Once a model has been created depicting how a family of 4-6 adults could accomplish their vegetable requirement in 1 gunta of land, the village can become self-sufficient.
